ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The teaching style of the faculties at ICFAI
Mizoram is student-centric. Above all, the

HISTORY
In the year 1948, the ICFAI group was set up as a
non-profit organization. Moreover, its aim was to
empower citizens by providing world-class
education. Soon, on its arrival, the Institute
launched the latest professional course in
financial analysis in 1985. In fact, it was the
first of its kind program. In other words, the
course was a fresh start towards giving students
and the latest knowledge in finance. Hence,
Innovation is the focus of ICFAI
Group. Thereupon, in 2006, the Institute of
Chartered Financial Analysts of India University,
Mizoram, was established. Above all, it offers
courses in Full-time and distance learning mode.
The distance learning bureau of the University
Grant Commission has also recognized it. Some of
the facilities provided by the Institute of
Chartered Financial Analysts of India, Mizoram
are IT labs, Soft skill labs, Seminars,
Internships, etc. Besides, the university
evaluates its students on the basis of projects,
assignments, tests, and seminars.

INFRASTRUCTURE
The infrastructure of an academic institution is
crucial. It sets the standard of the education
which is provided at the institution. Hence, the

Mizoram has a suitable environment for learning
and research. It also has a well-maintained

hostel facility is not available at ICFAI,

university have audio-visual facilities.
Additionally, there are language labs, LCD
projectors, IT labs, etc. It also has an
Auditorium. In total, the auditorium can
accommodate up to 300 people. The university has
round-the-clock power as well as a filtered water
supply. Moreover, it has a water-harvesting
system which makes the campus resource-conscious
and environment-friendly.

Library and Resources ICFAI University's library
is huge. Besides, it has all the modern
facilities. For instance, it gives access to
journals. Moreover, it has the relevant resource
material, books, and industry reports. Above all,
it gives access to online journals as well.
Hence, the students have the option to study at
their preferred time. SOUL Library Management
Software manages the library of ICFAI
University. Computer Centre In modern times,
computer literacy is most important. Moreover,
technology has been playing a very big role in
shaping our world. So, ICFAI has a
well-maintained computer lab. Above all, the
computers are connected to WiFi all the time.
They also have the latest hardware and software.
In other words, it has all the needed tools and
technology for imparting high-quality
education. Sports, health, and fitness Engaging
in sports is one of the best ways to get
physically, mentally as well as emotionally fit.
Hence, an institution needs to provide
infrastructure for the sports activities as well.
The ICFAI University provides facilities for
Indoor as well as Outdoor sports activities. For
instance, it has facilities for Carrom board,
Table Tennis, Basketball, Football, Cricket, etc.
