How do you create a concept sketch

Description:

Concept drawings or sketches are drawings, often freehand, that are used by designers such as architects, engineers and interior designers as a quick and simple way of exploring initial ideas for designs. We are a prorotype company for all your industrial design and product design inventions. If you have an idea of a new invention we can help you make it into a real product. Our talented industrial engineers can do concept sketches, 3d modeling and 3D printing. We can also assist in patent drawings, Mass production in USA and in Asia. We look forward of helping you with launching of your new product idea. – PowerPoint PPT presentation

Title: How do you create a concept sketch

1
How do you create a concept sketch?
Concept sketches are essentially freehand
drawings usually drawn by designers such as
engineers and architects as a quick and easy way
to expand any initial or basic ideas and
concepts of various designs. Since they are
considered hand-drawn sketches, these drawings
are not meant to be deterministic and complete
with every specific detail. Concept sketches are
more used as a way to convey and describe design
principles or ideas to others through sketches,
such as aesthetic concepts and images. Because
concept sketches can be used to quickly
illustrate the technical and conceptual elements
of the design, a set of initial concepts or
ideas in previous works and designs can be used
as the basis, goals, and construction of new and
improved problems, innovative solutions to design
structures The overall layout of the method.
Identify and define scope and context The first
step in creating a concept sketch is to set a
clear background and scope of the concept or
idea in your mind. The concept scope and context
can be derived from previous concepts, or even a
combination of various related ideas that fit the
scope and general context. The concept must be
detailed and defined with the basic principles
that outline the strategic solution, which can
be filled in by looking for relevant information
about the relevant structure and design.
2
Visualize general concepts as images After
setting the overall scope and context of the
concept sketch, visualize the ideas and concepts
into interconnected pictures to form a complete
image. It is important to collect all the
details and combine them into one picture so that
the general concepts and their details can be
more easily identified in a single image. The
image can be figurative, as long as it depicts
the essence of the concept. Create an ellipse
sketch The second visualization after the initial
visual image of the concept and idea is the oval
sketch. In an ellipse sketch, it contains a
general ellipse used as a central context. Inside
the main ellipse are smaller ellipses, and each
ellipse has a specific concept related to the
larger or main ellipse. Each smaller ellipse
should represent a different sub-concept that is
different from other competitions, which makes
it easier to determine why and how the general
concept and background are better than the
competition. Usually, the idea of an ellipse
sketch is to break down the overall or general
concept into smaller concepts with sub-concepts
that specify the basic details that separate the
main concept from the competition. Draw your
concept library The previous step lists every
concept in its context and scope. The fourth step
will outline all the listed concepts in terms of
meaning and definition. Use metaphorical symbols
in sketches to reference and connect similar
ideas and concepts.
3
It is important to note that similar or related
symbol sketches are consistent in size, line, or
texture. Try to adjust the consistency of style
throughout the sketch by following a set of
visual standards.
Connect and integrate conceptual parts Given that
you have the name and definition of the general
concept and the metaphorical symbols, the design
sketches can be combined to form the final
concept sketch. It is ideal to divide the
context into six uniform areas throughout the
layout. Symbols can be used to connect basic
elements and other symbols throughout the sketch.
You can add a description to each symbol or
concept to explain the function, cost, or
benefit. The sketch should also follow a
specific process or reading action in order to
easily transition between each symbol or context.
The pattern can be different but simple, as long
as it is easily recognized by the
reader. Movement can be from top to bottom, from
left to right, etc.
in conclusion If you follow the corresponding
steps, the concept sketch can become an effective
visualization of key concepts and ideas, and it
is worthy of becoming a basic blueprint for
design. Designers and professionals in their
engineering, architecture and general design
fields benefit greatly from simple and quick
concept sketching methods. Through carefully
crafted concept sketches, designers can
effectively communicate their ideas and visual
concepts, keeping everyone on the same page.
