his post-doctoral fellowship in Human Nutrition
at the University of Chicago. He is a member of
the Canadian Nutrition Society as well as the
American Society for Nutrition and the current
President of NFHNutritional Fundamentals for
Health Inc.

Passionate About Environmental Preservation
Doctor Peter J Jones, Manitoba, is a scientist
and entrepreneur who is passionate about
environmental preservation as well as global
health initiatives. He spent a decade as a Park
Ranger at Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park
before beginning his career in nutrition. As the
Secretary for Friends of Caren Environmental
Protection Group, he works on initiatives such
as the Jervis Inlet Biosphere and preservation
of First Nation culture and histories.

time to health and wellness. He is an advocate
for the Jervis Inlet Biosphere Conservation Area
project and passionate about protecting Shíshálh
Nation and Squamish Nation culture and
histories. Dr. Jones spends his spare time
sailing and skiing. He is currently the Head of
Science for MakaHealth Inc. in Vancouver and the
President of Nutritional Fundamentals for Health
Inc.
