1.What is the "Theory of Mimesis"?-Aristotle Vs
Plato
  • Plato's Theory of Mimesis
  • Plato says that all art is mimetic by nature art
is an imitation of life. He believed that 'idea'
is the ultimate reality. ... He gives first
importance to philosophy as philosophy deals with
the ideas whereas poetry deals with illusion
things which are twice removed from reality.
  • Aristotle's Theory of Mimesis
  • Mimesis, basic theoretical principle in the
creation of art. The word is Greek and means
imitation (though in the sense of
re-presentation rather than of copying). ...
Aristotle, speaking of tragedy, stressed the
point that it was an imitation of an
actionthat of a man falling from a higher to a
    lower estate.

2.Half-n-Half Pizza-Garlic bread Lockdown cooking.
  • I guess most of us are die-heart fan of Italian
food. The mere thought of pizza can make us crave
for it badly and not only pizza , we also love to
have cheesy garlic bread.I remember I used to
order both whenever I used to go out for having
Italian food..It becomes tough sometimes to
choose but why choosing one when you can have
    both.
  • Now coming to the recipe, it goes as

4
  • Take a big bowl (you'll have to knead dough in
this) and add half cup warm milk in it..Then add
1 tbsp of yeast make sure that the date
mentioned on yeast pack is correct as the old and
expired ones dont give efficient results and your
base will not rise ..After that add half tbsp of
    sugar.
  • Add 1.5 cups of all purpose flour to this
activated yeast mix and 1 tsp(tea spoon) of salt
    .
  • Then add 2 tbsp(table spoon) of oregano, 1 tbsp
of chilli flakes , 2 tbsp of butter, 8-10 crushed
/ sliced garlic cloves ..Mix everything  well.
  • Knead a medium soft dough by adding milk as per
need..One the dough is ready , brush butter or
olive oil on its external surface and let it sit
for 20-30 minutes..Cover the bowl with cellophane
or simply with a plate if you don't have
    cellophane.
  • You will see that the dough will double in 20-30
    minutes.
  •  Now spread some all purpose flour on rolling
board and start rolling the dough,  give a
    circular shape like chapati .
  •  Garlic butter preparation In a small bowl take
3 tbsp of melted butter and add crushed/sliced
garlic,  oregano , chilli flakes and chopped
coriander.. Your garlic butter is ready.
  •  We will apply this garlic butter on rolled base
and will add grated cheese , veggies of our
choice , oregano and chilli flakes on half part
of this base and will fold it like garlic bread.
Apply garlic butter on top as well...Now on other
half of base , apply pizza sauce , add veggies,
and put grated cheese on it.
  • Brush oil on a microwave safe tin plate .. This
is done so that your base doesn't get sticked to
the plate while getting baked. Then once you're
done with this, put your half-n-half pizza-garlic
    bread on it.
  • Bake it at 180C for 15-20 minutes till you can
actually see your base rising and changing colour
and getting that baked brownish tint on top..You
will see the cheese bubbling and the aroma of it
will actually make your cravings even more
    intense.
  • Ta-da , it's ready!! Trust me , it's worth giving
    a try..

5. Menstruation and the problems associated with
it!
  • Do you know how many women in India menstruate?
  • There are 40 crore menstruating women in India.
  • Do you know how many of them use Sanitary napkins
    or pads?
  • The number is less than 20.
  • So, what does this mean?
  • This only indicates that most females do not have
    consistent access to good-quality menstrual
hygiene products and that too every month.
  • Then what do women all over India use when they
    are on their periods?
  • Data shows that around 88 of women and girls in
India use unhygienic homemade alternatives, such
as old cloth, rags, hay, sand, or ash.
  • Can you guess how harmful all these are for
    women?
  • Can you imagine how many fatal diseases spread by
    using these materials?
  • And this horror does not stop hereAbout 71 of
adolescent girls in India remain unaware of
menstruation until they get their first period.
Women are afraid to talk about it, even with
their own daughters. Most men do not know, others
do not care. This adversely affects the
confidence and self-esteem of females all over
our country. This lack of awareness means that
they do not prioritise menstrual health as an
essential need. Sanitary napkins are not that
cheap and thus, underprivileged women are unable
to afford them for themselves or their daughters.
They suffer and so do their daughters.Even today,
menstrual cups are unaffordable for a lot of
urban women. The ones that can afford them feel
that they would be uncomfortable. Others are
afraid of inserting something inside them.

6.Emotional Eating- Why it happens and How to
stop it?
  • "I am feeling upset/stressed, I feel like eating
    something"
  • "So many relationship struggles and family
problems, but I know eating delightful food can
    help me"
  • "Yayy!! I am in good mood today, maybe I should
    reward myself with delectable food"
  • How many times do you feel the same? Or do you
feel like having scrumptious food when you feel
awful, desolated, cheered, or feel like eating
    even if you are full?
  • The answer is, quite many times!
  • This is none other than "Emotional Eating"
  • In such a situation, you must feel like running
to a Pantry or Restaurant to have your favorite
food, ordering from Zomato Swiggy, and end up
ordering more after seeing a 50 coupon or you
simply cook at your kitchen. Finding comfort in
    food is justifiable.
  • But this is not it. There is a comprehensive
process behind this which with giving a pleasure
    satisfaction, leaves you with more
    disappointment.
  • Negative emotions lead to feelings of emptiness
and positive cheerful leads to a feeling of
consuming great taste makes your way to eat more.
To follow those feeling, you tend to eat the food
and from there the process of dissatisfaction
    starts, which is like this
  • Something happens that makes to eat
