CLAT Educational Qualification To be eligible for CLAT 2022 students must qualify 12th examination with any recognized board or university.
CLAT Minimum Qualifying Marks General/ OBC category candidates must score 45 marks in the qualifying exam. 40 marks for SC/ ST category candidates to be eligible.
Appearing Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible for the examination. In this case, candidates will also have to prove evidence of their passing the qualifying examination.

CLAT Educational Eligibility Details
CLAT Educational Qualification Candidates must have qualified LLB or any other qualifying examination to be eligible for the examination.
CLAT Percentage Candidates must score a minimum of 50 marks for the General category. To be eligible for the examination candidates have to score 45 for the reserved category.
Appearing Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible for the examination. In this case, candidates will also have to show proof of their passing the qualifying examination.
4CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 Important Points
- As there is no CLAT age limit, candidates who
will take the Class 12th exam (for CLAT UG) and
graduate final year exams (for CLAT PG) in the
same year as the CLAT will be held are said to be
taking qualifying exams. - If a candidate takes the CLAT 2022-2023 exam
while concurrently taking the qualifying exam, he
or she will be admitted only if the passing
certificates and documents are submitted at the
time of counselling and seat allocation. - Candidates who are taking both the qualifying
exam and the Common Law Admission Test in the
same year must make sure that they are prepared.
