Introduction
The abrasion and wear resistance feature of the
equipment is important for productivity in
mining, bulk material handling, and its aggregate
industries. Rubber as a lining material is bonded
especially to prepared spaces which helps in
reducing the abrasion caused by material in the
mills. It is commonly used in chutes, SAG and
Ball mills, hoppers, bins, and deck plates of the
feeder.

Benefits To Rubber Wear Liners
Rubber liners are significantly quieter. Noise
levels in and around crushing plants frequently
exceed 120 decibels (dBA).
They protect equipment from vibrations and stress
caused by impact.
They are relatively low cost, compared with steel.
Rubber liners are lightweight and easy to handle,
making them ideal for boosting occupational
health and safety .
Rubber wear liners are commonly used to reduce
noise levels to 85dBA.
Rubber can last four to 10 times longer than
steel.

Useful Tips For Rubber Wear Liners
Wear accelerates as material speed is increased.
Rubber cannot flex quickly enough to absorb the
energy of a six-metre-per-second or faster
impact. Large materials will crush the rubber,
while small materials will tear small chunks out
of it. Because speed is the key to good wear
life, it is critical to slow the flow and
increase wear life. The impingement angle should
be reduced to as close to 90 degrees as possible,
a material roll should be introduced wherever
possible, and the operator should ensure that
there is sufficient liner thickness for impact
absorption and wear life.
