does have one limitation solar energy can only
be generated when the sun is at its maximum. That
is why, during night and monsoons, solar energy
generation can be negligible. And the fact that

energy can also be pumped into a battery. Battery
storage refers to solar energy being stored in
electrochemical batteries that involves a

energy has to be released and used. While
reversing the chemical reaction, the battery gets
discharged. This enables the energy to be
released from the battery. For solar

refers to the conversion of surplus electrical
