Fun Facts about the "firsts" in the Law Profession

Description:

The United States celebrates May 1st as Law Day. Dwight This was declared by Dwight Eisenhower in 1958, who wanted to celebrate the importance of the rule of law. The iconic Arabella Mansfield was the first female New York lawyer in the United States. Mansfield took the Iowa Bar in 1869. She didn’t just pass the exam but also scored well. At that time, business attorneys in NYC were exclusively men, so it was illegal for her to take it. Mansfield had to sue the state to take her exam. A girl named Gabriel Turnquest has become the youngest person to pass through a British bar. In 2013, Turnquest passed the British Bar Exam and became the youngest person to participate in the exam.
