Title: Causes of High Blood Pressure and a Rapid Heart Rate

1
  • Causes of High Blood Pressure and a Rapid Heart
    Rate
  • Is it good if your heart beats over 100 beats a
minute and falls among the irregular rhythms? But
not all types of irregular heart rhythms aren't
    always a concern.
  • Firstly, Tachycardia is a condition in which the
heart rate exceeds 100 beats per minute. What
causes it? It may be due to many things.
  • Sinus tachycardia can is caused by
    strenuous exercise, fever, fear, stress,
anxiety, some medications, and illicit drugs.
It's caused by anemia, an overactive thyroid, a
heart attack, or heart failure-related damage.
  • It poses a massive risk for Caffeine addicts,
alcoholics, and smokers. It is linked to heart
    attacks on occasion.
  • The latter type is due to the abnormal electric
pathways present from birth, structural problems
of the heart such as cardiomyopathy, medications,
    or electrolyte imbalance.
  • Symptoms of Tachycardia include
  • Dizziness
  • Lightheadedness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest Pain
  • Heart palpitations
  • The extreme cases could become unconscious or
    suffer cardiac arrest. Supraventricular
    Arrhythmias
  • These begin in the atrium or upper part of the
    heart, which sends electrical signals.

2
  • Who gets affected by Tachycardia?
  • Atrial or supraventricular tachycardias can
    affect
  • Women outnumber males.
  • Children, particularly those with anxiety.
  • Anyone who is highly fatigued or consumes
excessive amounts of alcohol or caffeine.
  • Heavy smokers.
  • And Ventricular Tachycardia affect
  • People with heart disease, heart attack,
    cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, or heart failure.
  • People who smoke have hypertension or diabetes.
  • In generally healthy individuals, the
resting heart rate should be fewer than
100 beats per minute. Though a person's resting
heart rate remains persistently above 100, an
irregular heart rhythm may be the explanation
even when sitting quietly. A rapid heart rate may
also indicate that the heart muscle has been
weakened by a virus or other condition, causing
it to beat more frequently to pump enough blood
to the rest of the body. You can use a Blood
Pressure Meter to measure blood pressure from the
    comfort of your home.
  • In most cases, however, a rapid pulse is not
caused by heart disease, as a variety of
non-cardiac events can increase the heart rate.
These include fever, a low red blood cell count
(anemia), an overactive thyroid, and excessive
caffeine or stimulant consumption, such as with
    some over- the-counter decongestants. In
addition to worry and poor physical
    conditioning, the list continues.
  • How is Tachycardia treated?
  • Depending on the type of Tachycardia, treatments
    vary.
  • Atrial or supraventricular tachycardia
    treatments
  • Office-visit-related massages and manipulations
    performed by your doctor.

Several factors can induce a fast heart rate
(Tachycardia). Schedule an appointment with your
doctor. If you believe that your heart is
pounding too quickly. Shortness of breath,
weakness, dizziness, fainting, or near fainting,
and chest pain or discomfort are all signs that
you need immediate medical assistance.
