Benefits and Myths
According to some sources, Himalayan pink salt
may contain up to 84 distinct minerals. This
indicates that only about 2 percent of it is made
up of these distinct micronutrients as it
contains up to 98 percent sodium chloride. It
seems doubtful that these minerals will have any
discernible or appreciable health benefits given
the relatively tiny amounts of salt that
individuals generally ingest and the amounts of
these minerals present in salt.
4
More Natural Salt
Table salt is less natural than Himalayan salt.
This claim seems to be accurate. Anti-caking
agents are typically added to table salt, which
is typically highly refined, to stop it from
clumping, for example. B. Magnesium carbonate or
sodium aluminum silicate. Himalayan salt is less
synthetic and frequently devoid of additives.
