capabilities. The Malaysian regulator has awarded
Rohde Schwarz a contract for a nationwide
system of fixed spectrum monitoring stations that
can be remote controlled at one national and five
regional headquarters.

Rohde Schwarz will supply numerous monitoring
stations to replace existing systems and
establish new stations. All of them are based on
the RS UMS compact monitoring and radiolocation
system with a new combined monitoring and DF
antenna. The antenna incorporates many features,
such as an active/passive switch for adapting to
different environments, along with horizontal and
vertical polarization, completely in line with
ITU recommendations
