What is coupling A Coupling is device in order
to connect two shafts like (Motor and Gearbox)
together at their ends for the purpose of
transmitting power and torque to gearbox and main
purpose of coupling is to avoid misalignment of
two rotating equipment. Basically, coupling is
mechanical device that is using to cater ends of
adjacent parts. During operation couplings work
fully functionally disconnection never possible
however some time due to exceeding torque limit,
there may have chances for couplings to slip or
disconnect but that torque-limiting couplings are
used.

• 1. High Gain Rubber Type Couplings

• The High Gain Rubber Type Couplings suppress
  hunting, improve limit gain of
• servomotors, thereby reducing their stabilization
  time.
• These couplings speed and torque unevenness,
  caused by misalignment, will be suppressed
• Because of the couplings high damping ratio, they
  enable quick vibration absorption
• Using these couplings causes actuator drive noise
  to be reduced.
• Comparing these couplings with disk and slit

• Disk type flexible coupling

3. Jaw Type Couplings

• Jaw type couplings have a unique configuration
  that assemble with press-fitted into the hub of
  the sleeve on both sides
• can transfer zero backlash at low torque
• Flexibility is excellent. In addition to the
  eccentricity, declination, you can also absorb
  torsional vibration
• Standardized sleeve of three different hardness.

4. Slit Type Couplings

• Slit Type Coupling is a one-piece metallic spring
  coupling
• Extremely high torsional stiffness, low inertia
  and excellent response
• Manufactured from extra super duralumin (A7075) -
  the highest strength aluminum alloy

5. Oldham Type Couplings

• Oldham type flexible coupling
• Slippage between hubs and spacer allows high
  parallel and angular misalignments
• Minimized load on shaft caused by misalignments
• Simple configuration enables ease of assembly
• Excellent electrical insulation
• Operational temperature -2080
• Oldham coupling with no protrusions feature low
  allowable misalignment (11.5) due to
• interference between the spacer and hubs at the
  proximity of A bending moment is generated as
  well. The MOL series features a high maximum
  angular misalignment (3), enabled by the
  protrusions which act as points of support. No
  bending moment is generated and the shaft load
  is minimized.
