• Australia Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
  is currently open for new applications for
  2022-23. The visa pathway allows skilled workers
  and their family members to live in Australia. It
  is a sponsored visa, meaning the visa applicant
  must be sponsored or nominated by an Australian
  state or territory government to be able to move
  to Australia.
• To be considered for a state nomination under the
  Australia skilled state nominated (subclass 190)
  visa, you must submit a Registration of Interest
  (ROI). The information you provide in your
  SkillSelect and ROI helps Australian immigration
  authorities select skilled immigrants for the
  state nomination.

• 190 visa follows a points-based system to pick
  skilled workers for the state or territory
  nomination. It is worth noting that apart from
  the minimum eligibility requirements decided by
  the Department of Home Affairs, each
  state/territory government also has its
  eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by all

  permanent residence.
