About us

• Uptown International School (UIS), a Taaleem
  school, is one of the country's most prestigious
  IB schools. UIS is a multilingual, global
  educational institution located in the heart of
  the Mirdif community in Dubai. Here students
  learn how to think critically, challenge
  assumptions, excel, build character, build
  friendships, and become multilingual global
  citizens.
• We are an authorized International Baccalaureate
  (IB) World School offering the Primary Years
  Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme
  (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). The school
  language of instruction is English. The Arabic
  language studies are in the Early Years Programme
  and French is offered from Grade 1 onwards.
• It is our goal to nurture students regardless of
  ability or aspiration through outstanding
  facilities and inspiring staff. This will enable
  them to discover their passion and reach their
  potential. It is our goal to provide the spark
  that ignites the flame in each student and helps
  keep it ablaze.

TALEEM SCHOOL

• Uptown International School is owned and managed
  by the Taaleem School Group which operates Early
  Learning Centers, two UK curriculum and three IB
  curriculum schools in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi
  (with a further associated branch having opened
  in September 2020). Located towards the Sharjah
  border in Midriff, Uptown was among the first IB
  curriculum schools to open in Dubai.
• Uptown International School (UIS) is a member of
  the Taaleem family of schools. We are extremely
  proud of what the school has achieved in the past
  10 years and what it continues to achieve on a
