6 Careers that Need CPR and First Aid
Certification
Not just doctors and other healthcare
professionals need training in CPR and First Aid.
CPR Certification is now a requirement for many
jobs, including
Emergency Respondersa
If your job involves responding to emergency
medical situations, such as paramedics or
emergency medical personnel, youll require a
certain amount of training and certification.
Before hiring applicants to work as emergency
responders, state-level agencies check their
credentials for training and experience. For this
reason, earning your CPR and First Aid
Certifications might benefit in job advancement.
It may also be necessary to meet the current
licensing criteria.
Volunteers
Volunteers who work with the public at community
and health fairs, seminars, and other events must
be certified in first aid and CPR. Many training
institutions and health organisations provide a
variety of certification options, including Basic
First Aid and Standard CPR Certification.
Institutions like American Safety Training
Institute offer CPR Training Online which is one
of the easiest ways to get your CPR card.

Construction Worker
A considerable level of risk exists for
construction workers. They operate in all kinds
of weather, carrying huge loads every day, and
using sturdy equipment and labour. Because of
this, lifesaving skills like CPR and First-Aid
Certifications are highly required.
Child Care Provider
A daycare worker, nanny, or babysitter cant be
everywhere at once, no matter how attentive they
are. Furthermore, because young kids are
susceptible to to choking, falling into pools,
and getting themselves into dangerous
circumstances, childcare providers must undergo
CPR and First Aid Training.
Lifeguards
A lifeguard may confront numerous
life-threatening situations, including cardiac
arrest and drowning. So, whether they guard a
lake, pool, or beach, lifeguards must be trained
in CPR and First Aid.
Flight Attendants
A heart attack or cardiac arrest at 33,000 feet
are situations that flight attendants must be
prepared to handle at all times. Flight
attendants must be trained in CPR, First Aid, and
how to use the onboard AED because there is never
a guarantee that there will be a medical
professional on board.
