DIFFERENT CLAIM TYPES
  • OEM PDI Claim For products stored in the OEM
    warehouse and not yet billed to dealers or
    distributors, issues can be claimed through "OEM
    PDI" until billing occurs.
  • Dealer PDI Claim If products are in dealer stock
    and not yet sold to customers, issues can be
    claimed through "DEALER PDI" until retailing
    happens.
  • Post-Sale Claim When customers return to the
    dealer after the sale to report an issue, it
    falls under the most common type of claim.
  • Campaign Claim OEM initiates these claims for
    potential issues in certain product parts,
    resulting in product recalls for free repair or
    replacement.
  • Good Will Claim After the official product
    warranty expires, OEM may choose to provide
    warranty coverage for various reasons, leading to
    Good Will claims initiated as requests.
  • Spare Parts Claim Customers can claim warranty
    for failed spare parts purchased over the
    counter, and authenticity can be verified through
    integration with Intellinet's parts system.

DEALER CLAIM PROCESS
  • The system offers the following claim types OEM
    PDI, Dealer PDI, Post Sales, Good Will, and Spare
    Parts.
  • Dealers can create claims using different
    sources Admin-defined Templates, Campaigns,
    Pre-Approval, Re-Considered Requests, and the New
    Claim form.
  • Supporting documents of all formats, including
    Images and Office documents, can be uploaded.
  • A custom document viewer ensures user-friendly
    viewing and easy addition of documents.
  • Validation checks ensure the correctness of the
    following information Product Serial Number,
    Warranty Coverage/Type of Claim, Part Number, and
    Labor Code.
  • Claims can be saved as drafts at any stage, and
    administrators have access to view and manage
    these drafts.
  • Labor and Parts incentives can be programmed
    based on the Claim Type.
  • The system is integrated with Parts Catalog,
    Service Information Portal, and Field Technical
    Reports.
  • Internal comments can be added, visible only to
    admin users.
