Working with Gallery and Data Table in Power Apps

• In Power Apps, both Galleries and Data Tables are
  used to display and interact with sets of data.
  They have different features and use cases, so
  I'll explain each of them separately.
• Gallery A Gallery is a flexible container that
  you can use to display a list of items. Each item
  in the Gallery can have multiple controls (like
  labels, images, buttons) that you can configure
  to display different aspects of the data.
  Galleries are often used when you want more
  customization and control over how the data is
  presented.
• Here's a basic overview of working with Galleries
  in Power Apps
• Adding a Gallery
• Drag and drop a Gallery control onto your screen.
• Choose the data source for the Gallery (such as a
  SharePoint list, Excel table, or other data
  sources).

• Customizing the Layout

• Binding Data

• Use the Items property of the Gallery to bind it
  to a data source. For example, if your data
  source is a SharePoint list named "Products," you
  would set the Items property to Products.

• Customize the layout of the Gallery by adjusting
  properties like the layout orientation
  (horizontal or vertical), spacing, and padding.

Interaction

• You can define various actions when interacting
  with items in the Gallery, such as clicking on an
  item to navigate to a details screen or editing
  the selected item.

Data Table

• A Data Table is a control designed specifically
  for displaying data in a tabular format, similar
  to a traditional spreadsheet. It's well-suited
  for displaying structured data with multiple
  columns.

• Defining Columns
• Define columns by setting the Columns property of
  the Data Table. Each column can represent a field
  from your data source.

Sorting and Filtering

• Set the Items property of the Data Table to bind

• Similar to Galleries, you can define interactions
  when clicking on rows or specific cells in the
  Data Table.
• Choosing Between Gallery and Data Table
• Choose between using a Gallery or a Data Table
  based on your specific needs
• Use a Gallery when you need more customization
  and want to display data in a visually engaging
  way.
• Use a Data Table when you have structured tabular
  data and want a more spreadsheet-like
  presentation with sorting and filtering
  capabilities.
