Title: How to Find a Reputable Exporter of Dairy and Organic Food

1
How to Find a Reputable Exporter of Dairy and
Organic Food
  • Natures SunGrown Foods, Inc.

2
  • While organic fruits, vegetables, and grains have
long been mainstays of the organic movement,
organic dairy is a relative newcomer. The global
market for organic milk is proliferating.
  • Many people buy grass-fed dairy products, such as
milk or cheese, from small family farms that use
natural methods and are committed to organic
farming. One such farm is Green Field Farms.

Grass-Fed Dairy
  • Dairy And Organic Food Exporter, selecting milk
that's right for your family can be confusing.
Choosing organic, grass-fed milk can help you
make an informed choice that's healthier for your
    family and the environment.
  • Cows that feed on grass and forage, rather than
corn or grain, produce a healthier animal, and
their milk contains measurably higher levels of
beneficial CLA and an optimal balance of omega-3
to omega-6 fatty acids. Grass-fed milk is also
produced by farmers that follow USDA organic
    production standards.
  • Whether you choose grass-fed or organic milk,
look for a label indicating the fat content
percentage in each 8-ounce serving. A higher fat
content means a creamier and richer taste!
Grass-fed dairy products are usually more
expensive than conventional milk, but the health
benefits are well worth it. For a more affordable
option, try mixing grass-fed and conventional
dairy products. They contain all the same
essential nutrients and have similar calorie
    counts.

Pasteurized Dairy
  • When it comes to dairy, organic products are
    becoming increasingly popular. However, its
important to understand the difference between
    wholesale dairy and organic.
  • In the US, most milk is pasteurized. This process
is designed to kill any bacteria present in the
milk. Its safe to drink but not as healthy as
    raw milk.
  • Some companies offer both raw and pasteurized
milk. Natural by Nature, for example, offers both
grass-fed and pasteurized dairy. Their popular
milk is sourced from cows that are raised on an
    organic diet.
  • The difference between organic and conventional
dairy is that organic farmers dont use
pesticides or chemicals in their farming process.
This makes the food much safer for consumers to
eat. Its also better for the environment because
it reduces pollution and greenhouse gases. In
addition, organic milk has higher levels of
Vitamin A and Vitamin D than the conventional
variety. Both of these vitamins are crucial to a
    healthy lifestyle.

GMO-Free Dairy
  • GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are the
latest area of concern for many consumers. As
such, large food manufacturers are increasingly
adopting a GMO-free label to attract these
    buyers.
  • During National Dairy Month in June, dairy
farmers promoted the nutritional value of milk
products and engaged in cow-centric social media
campaigns. But a different dairy industry group
took a more controversial approach, using the
month to call attention to "synbio dairy,"
referring to milk produced through precision
    fermentation.
  • Companies that produce dairy-like proteins
through synthetic biology use DNA sequences like
pieces of computer code to program or instruct
plants or single-celled organisms such as fungi
and yeast to express animal proteins from sugars
they feed on in fermentation tanks. The Non-GMO
Project warns that this type of "synbio dairy"
could pose risks to consumers, the environment,
and traditional dairy farms. This includes
    potential biohazard waste, insufficient
environmental testing, and reliance on fossil
fuels for producing the growth media used for the
    microbes.

Organic Dairy
  • Dairy Foods Exporter are grown and processed
    without pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or
chemical additives. These products are also free
of antibiotics and genetically modified organisms
    (GMOs).
  • Unlike conventional farms, organic dairy farmers
work with the land rather than against it. Cows
help maintain and improve soil fertility by
converting manure to nutrient-rich grass and
controlling weeds through grazing. Organic farms
also limit their use of artificial hormones and
chemicals, allowing the cows to produce at their
    natural rate.
  • Buying organic supports small, family-style
dairies that value animal and human welfare,
provide dignified jobs to employees, and keep
operations healthy and sustainable. The organic
milk industry also focuses on building fair,
competitive, local, and regional markets that
    offer stability to producers.
