Blackbird has started successfully on the
festival circuit and Asylum and Platos Breaking
Point are in negotiations for new distribution
deals. Other films continue to screen globally or
figure strongly in the DVD market. Michael

Great British Films 2006 Great British Films is
planning to announce its Premiere Picture 2006
film investment plans shortly. The films slate
for 2005-6 is currently being formalised, to
include a carefully selected group of
commercially driven projects from different
genres and of varied budgets. We are
diversifying our activities to include active
involvement in co-production with established
partners in the UK and worldwide. Our joint
venture with the IFA / Media Group, Brass Hat,
for the funding of US studio produced films is
progressing successfully and we are intending to
provide our services to other financial and media
companies.

A quick update on some of our other films
Bye Bye Blackbird wins three awards Premiere
Pictures Bye Bye Blackbird has started
successfully on the festival circuit. The film
won three awards in the official competition at
the Taormina Film Festival. The film industry
magazine, Variety, in their review of Bye Bye
Blackbird at the festival stated Ravishing
images and a stand-out central performance by
Charlie Chaplins grandson James Thierree mark
Robinson Savarys debut feature Bye Bye
Blackbird. The film will next appear at the
International Film Festival of Tokyo in October
and will feature in the World Cinema category at
the Montreal Film Festival in September.

story, has had its rental release in Iceland
earlier in the year and its TV premiere in
Hungary in June.

post-graduate students are trapped by a
malevolent force in a remote Czech castle. H3O
Filmed Entertainment, the co-producer and sales
agent, is focusing on selling world rights. The
film has screened to distributors in Los Angeles
and also in Cannes and negotiations are currently
underway with a North American distributor.

Entertainment (UK) Following its UK premiere at
the London Film Focus event in June, Bye Bye
Blackbird, the turn of the century love story,
has won three awards at the 51st Taormina Film
Festival on the island of Sicily scooped the
following awards - The Audience Jury Award, The
International Jury FIPRESCI Award and The Award
of Best Photography Director to Christophe
Beaucarne. The film has been selected at the
forthcoming Montreal and Tokyo film festivals
and submissions have been made for the Mill
Valley Festival in California, USA and the
British Film Festival of Dinard in Northern
France.

Asylum, is in the process of concluding a deal
with Channel 4 International to be the films new
sales agent. Channel 4 International is

Sales Lightning Entertainment The medieval
murder mystery, Anazapta, has had its DVD
premiere earlier in the year in both Spain and
France. The film continues to sell worldwide
with Brazil being the latest.

Sales Cinemavault Releasing Inc Borrowing from
the classic robbery/criminal genre, Platos
Breaking Point follows Plato, a small time
criminal, through the last few months of his
life. Blackhorse Entertainment are going to
distribute the DVD of Platos Breaking Point in
the UK.

Out Of Bounds (Dead In The Water)
other news .
The girls boarding school thriller, Out of
Bounds, is currently on release on DVD in the
USA, Germany, UK, Australia, Thailand and a
number of smaller territories. Great British
Films Releasing is hoping to capitalise on Sophia
Myles rising status. The actress has two
Hollywood movies released in the next six months
Art School Confidential and Tristan and
Isolde and there will be renewed efforts to
market Out of Bounds in relation to these films.
Summer Rain
Negotiations are underway to release Summer Rain
on DVD via the Eureka DVD label. Under this
arrangement, it is intended that the retail
version shall come out boxed with a CD of the
exciting Brighton bands that provided the popular
soundtrack. Director Jonathan Glendening is
currently preparing the extras that may consist
of a Director and Writers commentary, Male and
Female commentaries and 25 minutes of deleted
scenes, Cast Auditions, TV News spots, The
Making Of and Summer Rain goes to Hollywood
and Summer Rain goes to New York.
