Valenza at a glance

• Valenza is located in the heart of the
  triangle-shaped area made by the cities of Milan,
  Genoa and Turin (this is one of the richest and
  industrialized area in the North of Italy).
• The charming town of Valenza is a hidden jewel
  known only to connoisseurs of the finest jewelry
• Alessandria is the areas maintown.
• Number of citizens 35 K approximately.
• Number of businesses 2.7 K approximately.
• Valenzas art of goldsmithing is worldwide
  renowned as standard of excellence (both in
  design and quality) because specialized artisans
  make their fantastic masterpieces in gold raw
  material.

Landscapes

• Valenza belongs to the Monferratos hills area.
  During the weekend turists use to visit these
  beautiful landscapes, overall in Spring and Fall,
  when you can get out the most of this faboulous
  land.
• When driving through the scenic foothills leading
  up to the charming town, one gets an immediate
  taste of Italy's rich cultural heritage the
  beauty of nature and the classic elegance of the
  castles and villas.
• In Valenza itself, the colors of Italy are
  immediately apparent deep green of the trees,
  white buildings and red-tiled little houses all
  around.
• The Area region has also a very strong food
  wine tradition and is full of excellent
  restaurants, wine cellars and charming BBs.

Montaldeo
The small medieval town of Montaldeo has about
250 inhabitants. It is located in a very special
position among the hills of Piemonte and Liguria.
This area is famous for the cultivation of the
vine and the production of wine Dolcetto and
Barbera of Ovada. The small village is surrounded
by vineyards and rich in wineries which still
produce wine.
