My family ate one meal a day. Sometimes we went
without food when we had no money and nothing to

• grow enough food to eat
• earn an income
• collect rainwater
• build energy saving stoves
• build toilets
• learn about nutrition and hygiene

Teopistas family now eat three meals a day, and
the children go to school.

  Balgo to
• run family nights
• organise youth discos
• - make films
• - hunt and fish

There has been positive change in the energy and
behaviours among young people and the way they
interact with others in the community.
