• Tall tales started back in the pioneer days.
• Pioneers would sit around the campfire and talk
  at night for entertainment.
• After a while exaggerated tales became very
  popular to tell around the campfire these
  became Tall Tales.
• There are common traits of heroes from these
  stories.

• What about Paul Bunyan?

I need 2 volunteers

• Draw a paper!
• You are going to role-play the character.
• Your job is to talk about the things you did this
  morning in tall tale style.
• Make us guess which character you are!

• Dont give big hints it cant be too easy!!
• Be READY TO PERFORM!!! ?

• The story must have many exaggerations
• The main character has a problem to solve.
• The main character shows super-human strength.
• In the end the main character solves the problem
  or defeats the bad guy.
