- Both the 2008 Commitment and Achievement are on
one form - To be used when the commitment is made
- Used again at the end of the year when the
achievement is evaluated - The form may be filled in online then stored, and
when appropriate, printed and signed

- The key is an engaged commissioner and committed
unit leaders - Each commissioner must work with the key unit
leaders to set realistic, achievable, goals to
improve their program

- This is an opportunity for an honest unit
self-assessment - Useful tools include

- Expected outcomes of the Unit Action Planning
Meeting - The self-assessment will identify unit strengths
- It will also identify areas to improve upon
- An opportunity to establish the units vision for
the coming year - Determine specific steps needed for the unit to
improve - Schedule all follow up necessary to monitor
progress
