A Commitment to our Mission
  • The Sutton Public Schools, in partnership with
    parents and the community, are committed to
    providing a challenging and effective
    technology-rich learning environment to foster
    highest student achievement. We strive to
    maintain appropriate and valid technology
    systems, which promote critical thinking,
    analytical decision-making, and a high performing
    workforce. This plan mandates continual
    technological improvements, throughout the
    district, in order to compete in a
    technology-based society.

    all aspects of technology needs for the greatest

    strive to nurture and enhance the collaborative
    efforts of stakeholders towards fulfilling the
    technological aspirations and goals of the
    district.

  • The Middle School Technology Curriculum helps
    students develop and secure technological skills
    and concepts experienced in previous grades and
    introduces the following standards
  •  Use models and simulations to explore complex
    systems and issues
  • Identify trends and forecast possibilities
  • Interact, collaborate, and publish with peers,
    experts or others employing a variety of digital
    environments and media
  • Communicate information and ideas effectively to
    multiple audiences using a variety of media
    formats
  • Troubleshoot systems and applications.
  • Transfer current knowledge to learning of new
    technologies.

  • The Grades 9-12 Educational Technology Curriculum
    is designed to
  • Master the technological skills and concepts
    developed through their previous education,
  • Make the use of technology skills and concepts
    intuitive to the learning process,
  • Ensure students carry skills across subjects and
    grade levels,
  • Enhance and enrich the academic curriculum
    through exposure and development of discipline
    specific technologies, and
  • Provide opportunities for developing advanced
    and in-depth study into different technologies.
