To support and advise the Assistant Secretary of
Defense (Health Affairs) on deployment health
issues, we will Assess implementation of DoD

rapid integration of force health protection
lessons learned Actively conduct outreach
programs to keep service-members, their families,
veterans, service organizations and the American
public informed of DoD efforts to protect the
health of the force
