Our Values
GLITC is guided by the following set of
principles that help determine how to meet
responsibilities to member tribes.
  • Respect for all individuals We value cultural
and individual differences. Our programs afford
access and opportunity for all American Indians
residing in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. In
    addition to difference involving gender,
    ethnicity, age, disability and lifestyle
reference, diversifying also means variety in
thoughts and expressions. We seek to increase
the understanding among diverse cultures, because
we believe that embracing differences expands
    understanding.
  • Respect for tribal autonomy We value a tribes
right to follow a path that is good for its
    people.

8
Our Values
  • Dedication to assistance We respond quickly and
fairly to those who request support in an effort
    to build long term relationships.
  • Highest standards of integrity We openly
    communicate our objectives and results.
