PCT Introduction

• The PCT allows a user to develop a fully
  compatible OSCAM Ship Primary database using NCCA
  Defined CERs.
• A good way to use OSCAM if you dont know a lot
  of the parameters of the ship in question.
• The PCT and DMT are combined in a single tool
• The CERs inherent in the PCT were developed by
  Tecolote Research Inc. in 1996.

PCT - Use Of CERs

• CERs used to generate a subset of OSCAM data set
  parameter values
• CER analysis is divided into
• non overhaul components
• overhaul components
• Can use either or both sets of CERs for the ship
  being modeled
• Note that CER information including significance
  tests is included in help files
