Title: What ticket do you hold?

1
What ticket do you hold?
2
Matthew 153 He answered and said to them, "Why
do you also transgress the commandment of God
because of your tradition? 4 "For God commanded,
saying, 'Honor your father and your mother' and,
'He who curses father or mother, let him be put
to death.' 5 "But you say, 'Whoever says to his
father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have
received from me is a gift to God" -- 6 'then
he need not honor his father or mother.' Thus you
have made the commandment of God of no effect by
your tradition. 7 "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah
prophesy about you, saying 8 'These people draw
near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with
their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9
And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as
doctrines the commandments of men.' "
3
Matthew 231 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes
and to His disciples, 2 saying "The scribes and
the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. 3 "Therefore
whatever they tell you to observe, that observe
and do, but do not do according to their works
for they say, and do not do. 4 "For they bind
heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on
men's shoulders but they themselves will not
move them with one of their fingers. 5 "But all
their works they do to be seen by men. They make
their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders
of their garments. 6 "They love the best places
at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7
"greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called
by men, 'Rabbi, Rabbi.'.
4
John 648 "I am the bread of life. 49 "Your
fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are
dead. 50 "This is the bread which comes down
from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
51 "I am the living bread which came down from
heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will
live forever and the bread that I shall give is
My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the
world." 52 The Jews therefore quarreled among
themselves, saying, "How can this Man give us His
flesh to eat?" 53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most
assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh
of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have
no life in you.
5
54 "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has
eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last
day. 55 "For My flesh is food indeed, and My
blood is drink indeed. 56 "He who eats My flesh
and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
57 "As the living Father sent Me, and I live
because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will
live because of Me. 58 "This is the bread which
came down from heaven -- not as your fathers ate
the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread
will live forever."
6
John 666 From that time many of His disciples
went back and walked with Him no more.
7
Matthew 1916 Now behold, one came and said to
Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do
that I may have eternal life?" 17 So He said to
him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but
One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into
life, keep the commandments." 18 He said to Him,
"Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'You shall not
murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You
shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false
witness,'
8
19 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You
shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " 20 The
young man said to Him, "All these things I have
kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" 21
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect,
go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and
you will have treasure in heaven and come,
follow Me." 22 But when the young man heard that
saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great
possessions.
9
Acts 2619 " Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not
disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 "but
declared first to those in Damascus and in
Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of
Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should
repent, turn to God, and do works befitting
repentance.
10
James 122 But be doers of the word, and not
hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Hebrews 58
though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by
the things which He suffered. 9 And having been
perfected, He became the author of eternal
salvation to all who obey Him,
11
2 Thessalonians 17 when the Lord Jesus is
revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8
in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do
not know God, and on those who do not obey the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall
be punished with everlasting destruction from the
presence of the Lord and from the glory of His
power,
12
James 214 What does it profit, my brethren, if
someone says he has faith but does not have
works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or
sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16
and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be
warmed and filled," but you do not give them the
things which are needed for the body, what does
it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it
does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone
will say, "You have faith, and I have works."
Show me your faith without your works, and I will
show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe
that there is one God. You do well. Even the
demons believe -- and tremble! 20 But do you
want to know, O foolish man, that faith without
works is dead?
13
2 Timothy 23 You therefore must endure hardship
as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one
engaged in warfare entangles himself with the
affairs of this life, that he may please him who
enlisted him as a soldier. 2 Timothy 25 And
also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not
crowned unless he competes according to the
rules.
14
Hebrews 121 Therefore we also, since we are
surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let
us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so
easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance
the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto
Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who
for the joy that was set before Him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at
the right hand of the throne of God.
15
2 Timothy 26 The hard-working farmer must be
first to partake of the crops.
16
Luke 923 Then He said to them all, "If anyone
desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
Serving the lord is a daily duty and if we truly
love our master we will serve him.
17
Haggai 12 "Thus speaks the LORD of hosts,
saying 'This people says, "The time has not
come, the time that the LORD's house should be
built." ' " 3 Then the word of the LORD came by
Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 "Is it time for
you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses,
and this temple to lie in ruins?" 5 Now
therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts "Consider
your ways! 6 "You have sown much, and bring in
little You eat, but do not have enough You
drink, but you are not filled with drink You
clothe yourselves, but no one is warm And he who
earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with
holes."
18
7 Thus says the LORD of hosts "Consider your
ways! 8 "Go up to the mountains and bring wood
and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in
it and be glorified," says the LORD. 9 "You
looked for much, but indeed it came to little
and when you brought it home, I blew it away.
Why?" says the LORD of hosts. "Because of My
house that is in ruins, while every one of you
runs to his own house. 10 "Therefore the heavens
above you withhold the dew, and the earth
withholds its fruit. 11 "For I called for a
drought on the land and the mountains, on the
grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever
the ground brings forth, on men and livestock,
and on all the labor of your hands."
