What is CBT?
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on
    helping people to
  • Identify their thinking patterns
  • Identify their emotional responses to the world
  • Understand their behaviour and how it is
    influenced by their thoughts
  • Broaden their knowledge
  • Improve ability to problem solve

  • You will be exploring 3 aspects of using CBT. We
    are not able to explore all possible
    interventions so these have been chosen to give
    you a spread of options

  • CBT is a method, which can be useful for
    everyone. Some of the exercises are for you to
    try out for yourself, other activities ask you to
    consider application with other people or to
    explore concepts and issues in the CBT approach.
