Purpose of Project

• In Response to Physicians Request to provide a
  method in CERNER PowerChart and FirstNet to check
  status of orders that have been placed in the
  STAR Order Entry System

Scope of the Interface

• Laboratory Orders except BB Cytology Send
  out if they are orderable in STAR if they dont
  they will see Send Out Test Code and order in
  Comments
• Ordered
• In Process
• Complete
• Canceled
• Radiology Orders

• Exam Complete In Progress (Preliminary)

• Tips and Summary to all Unit Managers to Review
  with Staff and Post on ACIS PowerChart Boards
• On line PowerChart Module completed and to be
  posted to LEARN environment for review
• All Nursing Staff (Unit Secretaries RNs) will
  all be required to complete this review by
  September 30, 2009
