Involvement of victims The victim involvement
programme is not yet in full swing, but we have
had a few representations from victims at
Johannesburg. There is still a need for more
marketing to be done, and posters and pamphlets
are still to be obtained for distribution to
courts and police stations in the feeder area.

Challenges
Victim participation must be increased at this
stage inputs are basically one-sided in favour of
the offender. No representation by the Department
of Justice yet. Departmental There is still a
disconnection between the Review Board and the
