Promoting the well-being ofchildren and youth

• It addresses theoretical approaches and evidence
  based interventions in School Psychology aiming
  to promote learning competence and well-being of
  children and family-school community partnership
  and collaboration.
• Proposals are invited for symposia, workshops,
  individual presentations and posters related to
  the colloquium theme and to other broader areas
  of school psychology research and practice.

Colloquium Site

• The 2005 ISPA Colloquium will be held in
  Athens, Greece, at the Educational Center of the
  National Bank of Greece in Glyfada (a technically
  advanced conference site by the sea, easily
  accessible from the center of Athens by public
  transportation).

Accommodation

• Accommodation will be available in hotels in
  the surrounding area. A few rooms will be
  available at the conference site. As part of the
  Philoxenia Program, an effort will be made to
  find inexpensive accommodation for colleagues and
  graduate students of
• school psychology.

Colloquium Language

• English is the official language of the
  colloquium. A number of symposia and/or thematic
  sessions may be presented in French, or Greek. No
  simultaneous translation will be provided.

• The Opening Ceremony and reception will be held
  at the University of Athens main building.
• The Farewell Dinner will be held on the beach.
• A number of social and cultural events will
  complement the scientific program.
• Pre- and post-colloquium tours and visits will be
  organised to famous archaeological sites.
