  • REMIND STUDENTS TO EAT BREAKFAST!
  • (None will be served.)
  • TEACHERS ROLE AS CHAPERONE
  • (Review School Board Policy 6303)
  • Submit list of participating students and
    chaperones to
  • CTACE by 3/18/05
  • Invite ROTC Instructor and/or Security Officer to
    chaperone
  • Arrange transportation to arrive between 700 and
    800 p.m.
  • While on the bus, distribute to students colored
    wristbands
  • (delivered by CTACE to schools in advance with
    written instructions)
  • Complete appropriate paperwork (TDA, Field Trip
    Report, etc.)
  • Get students to and from event safely
  • Be a positive role model
  • Redirect student misbehavior
  • Apply consequences for misbehavior at event and
    school

  • TEACHERS ROLE AS FACILITATOR!
  • Introduce self to assigned speakers upon arrival
  • Maintain comfortable room temperature, lighting,
    seating, technical assistance, etc.
  • Greet Presenter and Participants upon entrance
  • Place Session Closed-Report to Room 315 once
    seats are full and start time has elapsed
  • Record number of participants and level of
    engagement
  • Show 5 minutes remaining sign
  • Complete evaluation and submit to CTACE
    Headquarters before departure
  • STUDENTS EVALUATIONS
  • After the event, encourage students to go on-line
    to complete evaluation at www.ctace.com
