Our Mission
  • Developing and bringing to market innovations in
    metabolically efficient torso support, from

    walking systems wherever quadriceps are
insufficient, we will be there to offer needed
    support

4
Todays Torso Support Dilemma
  • Existing solutions limited terrain extra work,
    or massive power requirements high
    cost/performance
  • State of the art computer controls to mimic
gait decrease work by cutting weight (titanium)
    very expensive
  • The underserved (existing techs benefits
outweighed by costs) the elderly, stroke
victims, the obese, excess load carries (full
body armor with A/C new parents backpackers)

5
Our core solution
  • Simply put a spring in series with a computer
controlled clutch both in parallel with another
    computer controlled clutch
  • Allows storage of energy usually lost during
    flexion
  • Recycles that energy trims needs for muscle
    strength in extension
  • Energy savings exceed the cost of carrying the
    device

6
Our Products
  • Phase 1
  • ASM stance master (stance-control uses)
  • ARA running aid (non-medical uses)
  • Phase 2
  • ASP support platform (military/human mule
    applications)
  • APA prosthetic adjuvant
  • Phase 3
  • AWA walking aid (bipedal solutions for
    paraplegics and beyond)

7
Target Market (US numbers only)
  • Phase 1
  • Existing orthotics candidates, particularly those
who typically decide to forego them 2M-4M
  • Stroke victims 3M-6M
  • The obese approching 10M
  • Phase 2
  • Military 100k-200k
  • Amputees 1M-2M

8
Bringing it to the customer
  • Licensing to existing orthotics distributors
    (e.g. Kingsley manufacturing, Zimmer)

    joint
  • Retail (non-medical brookstone, etc.)
  • Direct to consumer head-to-head against the
    scooters
