- Overview
- Students will develop an understanding of the
writing workshop, including the rules and
routines necessary for it to function. They will
know that workshops consist of a minilesson,
guided practice, independent practice, and a
sharing time. Students will understand that the
goal of writing workshop is to learn strategies
for independence. They will understand and apply
the writing process (choosing topics, drafting
ideas, revising and editing), with support.
