22- The oldest orchestra in Poland was
estabilished in Zamosc in October 1881. It was
financed by The Namyslowscy.
- In 1922 1935 Boleslaw Lesmian lived in
Zamosc and worked here as notary in a local court
of justice.
- The movie Przypadek Pekosinskiego was made
here. It is a story of one of the inhabitants,
Bronislaw Pekosinski.

many paintings and books in a cellar of the

a church of St. Katherin
