What is puzzle bobble?

• A puzzle game designed for children in which can
  be played up to 2 players simultaneously
• Originally released by Seiichi Nakakuki in 1994
  on Neo-geo console later due to its success, a
  lot of puzzle bubble style game released under
  different systems (e.g. Frozen Bubble)

What is puzzle bobble?

• The name comes from the Japanese animation
  character Bubble bobble!

What Bubble Attack should look like

• At the top of the rectangular playing arena, a
  number of balls of various colours are placed in
  a prearranged pattern at the start.
• At the bottom of the screen, the player controls
  the angle and horizontal movement of a cannon
  that fires semi-randomly coloured balls in a
  straight line.
• If the ball comes into contact with identically
  coloured-balls (a group of 3 or more), and any
  balls hanging only from them, are removed and
  thus rewarding the player a score.

We extend Bubble Attack to have a cooperative mode

• The game was originally designed to have a single
  mode and a 2 player-against mode
• However a cooperative mode could involve parents
  on helping children winning the game --
  Cooperation

• Playing table size
• Quantity of the coloured bubbles
• Complicity of the bubbles construction
• Time limit for the bubbles destroying
• Amount of allowed lives

Why this game is attractive

• The playing of this game would stimulate the
  development of the childrens reaction, alertness
• Also competition and cooperation skills, playing
  with other children or parents
• It is not restricted to the age range of 5-12,
  i.e. children may still love to play this game
  when they grow up
