Rock Climbing!!
The rock climbing is fun because the climbing
wall is really high, about 40ft. It is really
safe, you are all harnessed on and there is
nothing to worry about. There is 4 outdoor
climbing walls and 3 indoors!!

Zip wire
The zip wire was fun and exciting. It was about
25ft high and about 30m long. You are extremely
safe and you will get told very clearly how to
use the equipment provided. It sounds complicated
but its not!!

Archery!!
Archery was complicated but also fun. Once youve
got the hang of it its not complicated. It
doesnt include much action but it is extremely
fun.
Most people were better on there first go than on
there second. In Archery it doesnt matter
whether you are left handed or not, because you
get taught the same way.

The Crate Challenge was really exciting and you
had to be able to trust other people to get high.
Hanging up above was a rubber duck
that you had to touch to have completed the
challenge, all your team mates help build the
crate tower. Two people are in charge of holding
and pulling the ropes attached to the
Crate Challenge
person on the tower to keep them steady.Do not
pull the black leaver at any time because they
will fall to the ground!

The Abseiling tower was great fun and about 40ft
high. At first it was very scary and you had too
have a lot of courage to lean off the tower and
walk or jump backwards. After people had there go
they all enjoyed it,and were keen to have
another go.

Facilities!!
The toilets are near the swimming pool, which is
near the shop were you can get pencils, rulers,
pens and toys, also there is a tuck shop.
Opposite to the shop is an information office.
Behind all the main activities are lots of
fields used for camping and running about in,
also the fields are named after different birds
e.g. Larks, Moorhen and Kingfisher.

All the activities at Blackland farm are really
safe. If you are climbing, balancing or jumping
etc.you will always wear a special clip called a
karabiner!!
The whole activity centre Blackland farm has all
been checked safety wise. If an activity is not
safe they will not let you go on the activity!!
SAFETY!!
The harnesses you put on are easy to understand
if they are not you will get used to them.
Also you have to wear a safety helmet ,to put it
on you need to have the BF at the back of your
head. BF stands for Big Fool!!

Evaluation!!
We didnt have much help, we had a hard choice to
choose from, apart from that it was fairly easy.
