• SCORE works with and through government even
  though SCORE works at grassroots level
• SCORE believes bottom-up and top-down approach
  are necessary complementary two ends of a
  continuum that must meet in order to create
  sustainable sports structures and activities at
  all levels

• Namibian Volunteer Involvement Program
• Based on Sports Ministrys idea to develop
  capacity of unemployed youth
• Train community youth in sports skills life
  skills (incl. Kicking AIDS Out) leadership
  skills
• Partnerships with sports associations
• Volunteers responsible for organising ongoing
  community activities
• Support from work with Regional Sports Officers
  and other community structures
