Pervasive Telemedicine Definition

• Using the latest communications technology to
  provide, enhanced and expedited health care
  services remotely.
• Two types
• store and forward, is used for transferring
  digital images from one location to another.
• two-way interactive television system that is
  used when a face-to-face meeting is required

• Less dependency on staff for homecare patients.

Scope of the project

• To develop a simple telemedicine system for the
  Nursing School
• connect a remote location on any pace campus to
  the Nursing School

• implement queuing/pooling of patients
• Patient records policy - only the nurse can view
  records
