History

• 1990 JTLS introduced at ADFWC
• 1996-97 ADFWC Wargaming Wing conducts a series of
  simulation driven, Operational Level Command Post
  Exercises (CPX)
• 1998 -2001 Simulation Section focus narrowed to
  operational/higher tactical level CPX using JTLS
• 2002 - 04 Steps to broaden application of
  simulation to include planning support,
  previously unsuccessful because of aggregate
  nature of JTLS.
• 2005 - 06 Renewed interest in JTLS following
  successful conduct of TS05.
• Sim section now preparing to use JTLS in support
  of the Australian Defence College in Exercise
  Damocles 07 and Exercise Vital Prospect 08.
