Breast Reconstructive Surgery

• Plastic or reconstructive surgery of the breast
  during or after mastectomy following the
  diagnosis of invasive breast cancer
• Cosmetic breast surgery is excluded

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with lupus nephritis
(SLE)

• It is a multisystem, multifactorial,autoimmune
  disorder
• Characterised with development of autoantibodies
  that fight against the normal cells
• Affects females more than men - female-to-male
  ratio of 91
• Age - aged 20-40 years
• Characteristic features
• Poly arthropathy
• Fever
• Abnormal skin response to light
• Hair Loss
• Pericarditis
• Psychosis
• Neuropathy
• Kidney disease

Skin Grafting due to Skin Cancer

• Skin grafting due to removal of a invasive skin
  cancer
• Non invasive cancers in situ are excluded
• Diagnosis must be confirmed by a consultant
  pathologist
• Skin melanomas with less than 1.5 mm thickness
  using Breslows method or less than Clark 3 are
  excluded

• Restoration or reconstruction of the shape and
  appearance of facial structures above the neck
  which are defective, missing or damaged
• This reconstruction must be medically necessary
  for the treatment as a result of a direct result
  of accident
