  Framework and the Cancer Service Collaborative
  Programme

Managed Clinical Networks

• linked groups of health professionals and
  organisations from primary, secondary and
  tertiary care, working in a co-ordinated manner,
  unconstrained by existing professional and Health
  Board Boundaries, to ensure equitable provision
  of high quality clinically effective services
  through our Scotland.

• Specification for a Managed Information Network
  for Colorectal Cancer MCN
• Define the parameters for a trial of the proposed
  service
• Establish a model of collaborative working
• To define a model of a specialised information
  service to all Cancer MCN

• Questionnaire to all the members of the West of
  Scotland Colorectal MCN
• Semi-structured interviews with representatives
  of each staff group, sector and Trust in the
  network
• Map existing provision for each group
• Identify gaps and options for solutions
