Susan E. Roden's pastels are diminutive, vibrant
and impacted with mood and color. With a visual
communications degree, Susan was employed as an
editorial graphic artist in Texas and New Mexico.
She maintained a studio for her fine art
endeavors and here independently explored and
perfected her use of pastels. Her work was
featured on the cover of Pastel Artist
International Magazine, accompanied by an article
on her technique. Her range varies from
figurative to traditional landscapes and
contemporary still lifes. In all, Susan quests to
impact all with the beauty of life in all its
simplistic, expressive moods.
