A New Challenge Has Finally Come
For years, I have considered English
Composition Writing a tough course for me to
take. I have been struggling with my English all
the time. Still, I dont know how to improve it.
Occasionally, I was frustrated.
Our professor (teacher) arrived last
year. He used to teach at famous national
universities. With his diverse working
experiences in the United States and Europe, he
shared with us some tips on learning English. He
assured us that we can compete with students in
other big universities, as long as we follow his
ways.
Prof. Li is encouraging indeed. I am not
sure, however, whether or not I can make it. It
goes without saying that a new challenge has
finally come. I am getting excited, though a
little nervous.

3. Listen to BBC, CNN, ICRT for inspiring
information. Watch good movies, and take
notes when you hear something inspiring.
4. Collect inspiring articles for discussion in
class. Learn from the above for vocabulary,
grammar, idioms and styles, etc.
5. Integrate language learning with culture
learning. Contact your instructor/s for
better learning strategies. Check e-mail on
daily basis, and reinforce writing skills in
English.

English Composition Corrected by Prof. Li
Writing English composition is a challenging
job for me. We have to do it in the classroom
within a short period of time. When I stepped
into the classroom this morning, I was a little
worried. Still, I looked forward to receiving my
English writing corrected by Professor Li.
The moment I received my English
composition, I was excited. Prof. Li told me that
I did a good job, and gave me an A for it. All
my classmates said to me, Congratulations.
Now, I realize that learning to write
English composition is not difficult. Its fun.
However, it takes time to learn this basic skill
through extensive reading. Thank God, I have
built up my confidence in English writing.
