Do you feel safe when you go to church? In the
1960s, church was not always a safe place. The
Watsons go to Birmingham, 1963, is a compelling
story about a family that experienced life as
minorities in the deep rural South. In the story,
the Watsons are affected by the bombing of the
16th Street Baptist Church that killed four
little girls in Birmingham, Alabama.
