Institutional Relations
  • As a representative of SUNY College at Oneonta,
    your relations with outside funding sources are
    significant. In order to coordinate fund raising
    efforts and assure regulatory compliance, it is
    the policy of the College that grants and
    contracts submitted to external sponsors must be
    cleared through the Grants Development Office
    (grants) and/or Sponsored Programs Administration
    (contracts) prior to submission. All externally
    funded awards for research, training, program or
    curriculum development, regardless of value, will
    be administered through the Research Foundation
    of SUNY.

    program expenditures at 5.684 million, and
    second in committed funds at 6.379 million
    (Research Foundation of SUNY)

A Record of Productivity
  • In fiscal year 2008-2009, grant proposals
    requesting approximately 3.2 million were
    submitted through the Grants Development Office
    on behalf of twenty-five different faculty/staff
    to a variety of agencies (e.g. the National
    Science Foundation, National Institutes of
    Health, Corporation for National and Public
    Service, Petroleum Research Fund, American
    Association of University Women, Federal Aviation
    Administration, Council for International
    Exchange of Scholars and various foundations)
