PROCESS
  • Retain all existing residents and businesses in
    OSBR.
  • Preserve all buildings that contribute to
    neighborhood heritage.
  • Conserve all homes and businesses that contribute
    to the neighborhood quality.
  • Provide financial assistance with façade
    improvements on buildings to be preserved and
    conserved.
  • Secure vacant structures and lots and
    re-subdivide as necessary, to construct infill
    single family, duplex, townhomes and commercial
    buildings as receiving areas for relocated
    families and businesses.
  • Provide New Housing Types that Will Accommodate
    Both Home Owners and Renters in the Community.

  • Secure renovate vacant adjudicated structures
    that are deemed financially viable and livable as
    receiving areas for relocated families and
    businesses.
  • Relocate existing residents or businesses in
    substandard buildings to new or renovated homes/
    commercial buildings in the same area.
  • Remove vacant blighted residences commercial
    buildings and replace with new homes, commercial
    buildings and open spaces in accordance with the
    neighborhood revitalization plan.
  • Attract moderate to middle income homebuyers to
    OSBR. This market would be attracted to historic
    renovations and select in-fill new construction.
