• OPERATE CALL POINT
• CLOSE DOORS IF POSSIBLE
• DO NOT RUN WALK AT A STEADY PACE
• FOLLOW THE EXIT SIGNS TO YOUR NEAREST AVAILABLE
  EXIT
• GO TO YOUR ASSEMBLY POINT

EVACUATION

• Use Your nearest available Fire Exit
• Do not go back for personal belongings
• Do not use Lifts
• Do not re enter building till advised to do so

MEANS OF ESCAPE

• ALL FIRE DOORS TO BE KEPT SHUT AT ALL TIMES
• All exit routes must be free from
  obstructions(Cardboard, Machinery, Waste)

P.A.T TESTING

• All Electrical equipment should be subject to
  P.A.T.Testing
• Extensions leads should be tested and ensure they
  are not being overloaded

FIRE DOORS

• All Fire Doors must be kept closed
• when marked as Fire Door keep Shut
• Unless they are electronically designed to shut
  on a fire activation

FIRE DETECTIONANDWARNING

• In some buildings there will be voice activated
  warning
• In others either bells or sounders
• There is Smoke Detection in corridors
  ,stairwells, and some laboratories
• There is Heat Detection in plant rooms and
  kitchen areas
• The alarm must be audible in all areas
