Meet Katie....
  • 17 year old young woman who lives at home with
    her mother. She has a sister who is 22 and lives
    in her own apartment.
  • Receives special education services because of a
    learning disability
  • Spends 75 of her time in general education
    classroom (receives instruction in science,
    English, history as well as health/art/music/PE)
  • Spends 25 of her time in self-contained
    classroom to receive instruction in math and for
    study skills
  • Working on regular high school diploma.

Meet Katie.
  • She is an outgoing young woman who has a strong
    sense of right and wrong. She identifies most
    closely with adult woman and has few friends her
    own age.
  • She loves theatre and participates in the annual
    school play.
  • She enjoys swimming and goes to the local pool.
  • She loves spending time with her dog.
  • She volunteers to read to elementary students (a
    program from her high school)

    right now.

  • I found out that there are other things I need to
    know how to interview, and why interviews didnt
    result in job offers
  • I found another way to schedule meetings.
  • Do I know what I want to know?
  • No. I still dont have a job.
